Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Assistant Kern County Administrative Officer, Teresa Hitchcock, who manages America’s Job Center and Employer’s Training Resource for the county as part its Workforce and Economic Division. Hitchcock will provide key details on Kern County’s new $1.2 million micro grant program. She will also discuss local issues businesses are experiencing in hiring employees, and available resources to help employers.

Additional topics will include new grant and forgivable loan programs in Mono County, new guidance on the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL], updates on the Employee Retention Tax Credit, and more. Questions from attendees will be taken.

This marks the 99th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
