On this week’s free webinar, host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will focus on essentials for small businesses to become “loan ready.” He will analyze several necessary factors to start or place a company in position to expand and grow through acquiring capital.  
 
Bearden will also discuss the March 21 deadline extension to file the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), and current IRS news for businesses. 
 
Guest Dr. Deborah Cours, dean of CSU Bakersfield’s College of Business and Public Administration (BPA) and executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation will stop by to give a brief update on the importance of the university’s BPA to regional economic development. 
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
