Helping Your Business Start, Grow and Succeed

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden kicks off the hourlong webinar with details on the U.S. Treasury Department’s recent $10 billion State Small Business Credit Initiative [SSBCI]. California is expected to receive $1.1 billion to help small businesses in disadvantaged communities through financing programs and technical assistance.

Kelly is joined by nationally recognized small business expert Rhonda Abrams, CEO of Planning Shop. An entrepreneur, USA Today columnist, and author, Abrams discusses how to create energy and enthusiasm for 2022, define and set annual goals, and steps needed to create an annual plan. [18:00]

Abrams book, Successful Business Plan: Secrets & Strategies, is among the best-selling business plan guides in the U.S., and was named by Forbes and Inc. magazines as one of the top ten essential books for small business.

This marks the 96th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides information on current government business pandemic relief programs available at the federal, state and local levels, tax credit programs, and other resources helpful to employers and business owners.
