Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden is joined by Keith Brice, president and CEO of Mid State Development Corporation, a non-profit SBA lender based in Bakersfield that serves Central California. They discuss the current lending environment for growing businesses, and take a look at a variety of lending programs recently added or that will be coming online in 2022. Additional topics include information on Kern County’s new $1.2 million Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, 504 loans, nano grants, and more. This marks the 100th consecutive “Webinar Wednesday.” The series began on March 18, 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic shutdown. Locally produced, the weekly webinar continues to provide pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
