Founded in 2001, and as Stanislaus County’s oldest lifestyle magazines, VR Publications is proud to have been serving the Central Valley communities for nearly 20 years. The award-winning bi-monthly publications consist of Turlock Living, Ceres Living and Modesto Living, and present timely engaging content on local businesses, people, education, health, arts & entertainment, travel, and fashion. Entrepreneur & publisher Vickie Rogers has worked with the SBDC multiple times. Most recently, she contacted the Valley Sierra SBDC for consulting assistance in website redesign, marketing strategy, and product redesign. Working with two expert consultants, she conducted a competitive market analysis, refreshed her marketing strategy to contemporize her marketing outreach efforts, and completed and launched a new website and 3 fully-redesigned magazines on an aggressive timeline.
